book review: the human stain by Philip Roth

I recently read the Greek translation of this book (one of many) by Philip Roth. It's only the first one of his that i have read, but it was all in all a positive experience and a very pleasant read :)
what i enjoyed the most was the originality of the story, not the topic itself, which is not very original. The book is about trying to discover one's identity and basically defining your future, disregarding all the attributes that we attain as soon as we are born (birthplace, family, race, religion, social status and whatever else).
the main character of the book has done all that, and it's really interesting to see what kind of dilemmas are born through that procedure of "freeing oneself" in life. and most of all how we can never be in total control of our life, as much as we might have liked to, sometimes.
Any other recommended books by the author?
