Chios

i am in CHIOS! After 4 years, it's time for a comeback. a lot has changed, but walking through her streets the memories are coming back. i used to be lc responsible for LC Aegean and been here a few times.

remember my time here as mcp candidate, my lc visits, the good times, the negotiations :) on how to do things best, the 8 hour boat ride to and from athens, also one of the most random stories in my life (a.k.a. someone crashing on our car at 3 am and dropping his car in the sea - he survived :-)...

ah, not time for getting emotional, just taking some nice pics of the island and visit some of the old familiar places. also discovering that Chios (not only the city but the entire island) is very beautiful. from coast to mountain, from modernity to traditional architecture. definitely a cool destination for the summer. and as devrim says, also a stone's throw from turkey - izmir through cesme is very close.
