first views of mytilene
frozen tree: on a mountain of lesvos, when all the snow and ice have melted, for some strange reason this tree (and a few more around it) remain frozen. it's a constant reminder that i am in a touristic place in a non touristic period. no swimming, no 30 degrees celcius. it's my first time on an island of the aegean in the winter, and i just love it being here and seeing how different these places are in the winter. i would say i like them as much as in summer time cos they have a different kind of beauty in this time of the year. 
sunrise in mytilene: monday feb 13th, 2006. great view to start your day with. this is more or less what i see from my hotel window.

hmmmm - i don't know. most probably i will be around in NL in april, looking for a job. that's not too far away, is it?
