a different football experience

today i went to a brazilian pub to watch the game of basil vs. the aussies. and i discovered why they say that for latin america football is more than just a sport: it's a celebration. there was music throughout, lots of dancing before, during and after the game, a very lively crowd and a fun atmosphere throughout. so, thanks fotis for the invitation :)

i guess my next goal is to watch football live in the southern part of america one day...

btw: just to mention i am supporting the oranje in this world cup, since my home country hasn't made it there...

Excellent choice to support the Orange team. Not only are they playing a good championship, it also gives you the chance to support all the outsider countries that are doing well with their orange coaches such as the Aussies, Trinidad-Tobago & S-Korea (Unfortunately the dutch ass.coach of Togo quit recently).

we (the oranje, that is) are now through to the next round, though we had a terrible game against argentina, none of the two teams really had a motive. hope we do better now onwards...!

Oi Dimitir!!
I´m just arriving from the Japan-Brazil match and I´m here in Sao Paulo (Brasil) - for 3 weeks now - and it´s an extraordinary experience to live the celebration the way brazilians do.
