the time has come. i am going to portugal for the weekend! Woohoo (a la Homer)!

this week has gone by incredibly fast. i am so looking forward to this. work tomorrow, then go for drinks, then get my small luggage from home and find the way to gatwick drunk. spend the night there - board the plane at 5:30 am. land in lisbon.

am i being stupid? this is just one a half day over there. yes. but i am attending a good friend's wedding and meeting some of the people who gave me one of the most exciting years of my life so far. you know what i am talking about now...ripun, yumna, sathe, volodi, evrim, kene, pedro, pinar, zoe, brenda and even more are gonna be there. some of these guys i haven't seen in two years at least. once upon a time we lived in the same city - rotterdam that would be. now we live in london, new jersey, shanghai, singapore, brussels, amsterdam, rio, istanbul...
