What are the chances?
now how are these two pictures connected? i will explain, hold on a sec. then you will realise once again how small the world is.
pic # 1: Vaggelis and Dimitris. I met Vaggelis probably around 20 years or so. He was learning English in my parents' school in Lamia, a 60,000 people town.
When he was 13, they moved to Athens with his family. When we were around 23-24, we accidentally met again through Vlasis, who is a friend of his from University, and a friend of mine from AIESEC in Greece. Fine all the way to here. We exchanged e-mails and didn't actually keep in touch.
So tonite it was Vaggelis' birthday and he knew I am in London (like he is for the past month) so he called me up join the celebration. What are the chances? We are only from a 60,000 ppl place, and we are both in London, at the same place.

pic # 2: but hey, wait, that's not all. when i actually went at the pub, a little later this girl who looked familiar arrived. it didn't take us much to work it out, she is Laura and I know her because she used to be in AIESEC in Sweden. I haven't seen her in 3 and a half years almost. She now works on the same project with Vaggelis.
And I ask you: what are the chances?
Anyway I had a great time tonight as well...it looks that this week is between weddings and birthdays. And the best is on Saturday, when my birthday coincides with Agnes's and Miltos' wedding. How cool can that be?
