the beginning
of the sports season is here. and if you like sports, it's all fine. if you don't, like a friend of mine told me, "it's like a never ending torture, that sports never seem to end and all these other people are interested in them".
in any case, today we had the beginning of the world basketball championship in japan. and in the evening the greek football league starts the season, along with the premiership. it looks like an exciting year already in terms of sports!

since you are now in a cricket playing cricket watching country, don't forget England is currently playing Pakistan! Learn something about the world's greatest game! he he :-)
same old story...a bunch of indians trying to explain cricket to me. now i hav an additional bunch of english people trying to do the same. the conclusion is one: i always get confused by cricket rules etc etc because i was never really interested in it. :-)
depending on how long i stay here, this might of course change. time will only show.
