sliding between worlds

i was thinking about this today. i don't actually feel like having moved to a different country since tuesday that i am back to the uk. i feel like i have moved to a different world. there is nothing in my life in the uk that is the same as in greece, and although i am the same person, this creates a weird feeling. adaptation is not the issue. the issue is that, as we stand now, i have an established lifestyle and social circle in both countries, but none of them is home to me right now. i guess the feeling of home has to come with time, and i have to give it a try to feel at home in england. i have the entire dark and wet winter ahead of me to do that, and start feeling that london is now where my home is. i guess that when i find a permanent flat to stay in, this could also help. otherwise i might just end up feeling in transit for the rest of my life :-)
