the world's top 50...

...i always had a resent for random newspapers and magazines comprising list of the "top 50 places you should visit before you die" or "the top 10 things you should do before you are 30" and things of that sort. that's cause i don't like the idea of someone else directly promoting a specific lifestyle to me.

however, there are some of these lists that often trigger my imagination and plans. read on the paper the other day an article on the world's top 50 views (whatever) and i realised that i have been in only 2 of them, none of which in greece. in fact, the only entry from greece (sailing into the harbour in santorini) i have missed, since i have never been to santorini. agreed, the list is highly subjective, but i want to travel more. not to see these views exclusively. because i want to see new places and meet old friends. too bad time and money are limited, but i will fight my way through anyway. i think year 2007 will set the record straight.
