according to the bbc article above, and analysts gartner, the blogging phenomenon is about to peak next year and start dropping in numbers. not surprising according to me, but the changes that blogging has brought about are here to stay.

sure there's enough people that just start blogging as their friends do and abandon them after a while. but there's also a lot of bloggers that have news to spread, opinions to share and interesting stories to tell. and well, i think it's one of the most important phenomena on the internet, to tryly make it a shared means and means of interaction among people on a more permanent basis.
